As one of the government institutions taking a part in the disaster emergency response program facing the hydro-meteorological disasters in Indonesia, BMKG provides weather information as early warning information for various sectors to take prevention action. Although it has been available in various media, the complex dynamics of weather and its impact on human life are not fully understood by the Indonesian people. This is evident from the activities of the Indonesian people who are still often ignorant of the weather conditions in their area.
